I am afraid that contrary to others opionions, the PPS action of the last few days worries me, perhaps needlessly, that something not so good is going on. I have never, in all the purchases I have made thru the years, had a 10,000 share order fill at the bid so quickly. In fact, the only time I have ever gotten filled at the bid was when the bid dropped and I was now above the bid on my limit order. There is just something that doesn`t feel right. Why would the same market maker be on the best bid and the best ask? You don`t often, if ever see that. I hope my worry is unfounded, after all I did buy more, but the ease with which my order was filled makes me wonder. How the spread could stay so tight thru so many shares traded mystifies me.
