I was on a recent Alaska flight to Cabo. They don`t offer the digEplayer on that flight (2 hour duration) because there is not enough time to distribute/collect the units.

I maintain a digEplayer already in seat with a card swipe allows passengers an option that is void of the logistics problems and generates revenues for the airline.

Certainly this is an area for further expansion in IFE.
