When I discussed that very, exact, question with RP I was told that BOW had questioned who`s IP was in the DP. (as we all know) This left EDig in a somewhat precarious position. Since EDig is free to sell the DP to any airline, at any time, they did not wish to incur an expensive lawsuit from a ``control freak`` like BOW which we could not afford. If BOW said ``sayonara`` to us and we then sold the DP to other airlines (which is still a possibility) BOW ``COULD`` and I emphasize, could, create legalities about us, or the airline in question, using ``THEIR`` (Wencor`s) product. EDig said the heck with that and created a completely new product so there would be absolutely no question as to whose IP was inside.

As far as BOW`s interest in the Vu, EDig is NOT responsive. If that scenario comes into play it WILL BE SOLEY ON EDIG`S TERMS. Not one bit of control by BOW. But that appears to be a long shot at this point, or at least until Triad is fired by BOW as he has done with every other company involved with his IFE interests...

By the way, has anyone heard anything from Triad/Digecor lately on the development of his new IP in the HANDHELD DP. Seems to me all we have heard about is the embedded system. I do believe this leaves the handheld market wide open for EDig.
