RP stated that there was an issue with IP and Wencor. Wencor`s management team are not dummies, either. We don`t know what Boyer told Brent Wood. Boyer was certainly not an experienced OEM buyer. My guess is that has worked in EDIG`s favor since sunpoop is right about EDIG`s PRs on owning the tech inside, but not the cosmetics. However, putting out a PR does not mean it holds up in court. Trust me on this one. Been there. Trademark laws are tricky and it takes lots-o-cash to fight a problem. EDIG knew that part and was / is not in a position to file a lawsuit. That`s where EDIG did it right...new design, their tech, no question about it.
