Yep, and that is what Wencor is attemping. If they can overcome the security issues, they may be able to do it without EDIG. Of course, after Wencor dumps EDIG, management would be free to offer the eVU as IFE to another authorized airline vendor. They could not do it themselves. So, who`s to say one distributor is better than another. Wencor is still probably the best match for EDIG since they have the sales and distribution intrastructure in place. Who one likes or dislikes in any business relationship is simply not important to the P & L statement. I do OEM business with some complete jackasses, but I smile and cash the checks.

As for Wencor, they get to buy the award winning product and pay EDIG`s light bills for the short term. Maybe longer if they fail to produce a new toy with better features than the current digEplayer.

We can`t blame Wencor. Brent Wood is doing everything he can do to maximize his company`s profit. By definition, this is his role. We may not like the eventual outcome, but Wencor is still EDIG`s white knight. Where would EDIG be if Boyer had not come along?

Time for, dare I repeat it, EDIG to sell something or let us know they have already done so. I`m still guessing (make that a WAG) they have a deal of some sort in their back pocket since I cannot imagine Willy coming on board to walk the plank and go down with the ship. I don`t KNOW Richard. Who knows? Maybe Willy is a 2nd cousin from a long lost Norris love triangle.

In a few months we should know a lot more. Until them, it may be a tad boring. Politics anyone? Religion? Where`s Mediator? flash, still givin` foot wedge lessons?
