I agree with all you have stated....there is no need to patent every application created....I have in fact made those very same types of statements.

The line I`m referring to is a descriptive mention in 5787445.....it`s public knowledge....and it relates to MOS being hardware independent....this ability.... because of it`s ability to use many conventions of existing operating systems currently in use.

Set it up any way you like....with a firmware set(controller) to handle many...or without.
