You may not be a fan...however, they own IP in an approved format....for the space they sell to.
As to it`s worth....IMO.that`s up in the air to.
If there`s a concern for security...you can bet that any company to offer a hand held in IFE are reviewing the prescribed management by Wencor.
That effort is not just for the mentioned premium content issues.....it`s for any content.
