we needed to prove the validity of the patents in court once and for all which FF did not allow.  However, just saw on CNBC that Allergan has done a deal with an Indian tribe in an effort to circumvent the IPR process.  Apparently Indian tribes are exempt from the IPR process, so Allergan paid the tribe some money and put the patents in question in the tribe's ownership and then leased, or whatever, them back from the tribe.  There are several Indian tribes with casinos in San Diego county.  I am not joking.
