FORT LAUDERDALE – The law firm ofGreenspoon Marder announced the opening of an office in Nashville and the launch of the firm’s Intellectual Propertypractice group. The firm’s Intellectual Property practice will focus on patent and trademark strategies, registrations, portfolio management, licensing and litigation both domestically and internationally. The firm’s new office will allow the firm to continue to strengthen and grow its existing, strong practices in healthcare, music and entertainment – vital industries in the Nashville business community.
Dr. Kelly Hollowell joins the firm as a shareholder and the founding member of the new Nashville office. An accomplished patent attorney and scientist, Dr. Hollowell focuses her practice on life sciences and mechanical arts serving a wide array of industries including renewable energy; medical products, devices and services; health and beauty products; pediatric nutritional products and processes; pharmaceutical testing processes; physical therapy and sporting equipment; and construction services. As Chair of the Intellectual Property practice group, Dr. Hollowell will lead the growth of the firm’s IP practice.
The firm also welcomes new attorneyJustin McNaughton. Mr. McNaughton is the current president of the Young Lawyers Division of the Nashville Bar Association. He will join Dr. Hollowell in founding the Nashville office. He is a licensed patent attorney and maintains an active software and technology licensing practice, working with companies of all sizes.
