I do not disagree with planks points made. The patents are continuing to flow with the same verbage as contended in the Google IPR .. .. I realize that.
The PTAB may, or may not have the authority to continue a case despite the parties involved and their wishes. However, the PTAB did not continue the case, it was shut down as motioned by the parties ...mutually.
With that, the issues of the patents regarding claims and specification stay intact allowing the patent owner to pursue more patents.
I'm not saying that the patents are worthless ...my contention is, the system is making them worthless... where it looks to me , Google is just simply not on the hook for e.digital future endeavors.
Things are just not adding up with regard to company filings along with the lack of formal news regarding licensing.
It's been too long, where IMO, there should be a glimmer of at least something if it was of a positive nature.
