it's all about the royalties. One time license fees are not likely to have a big long term impact
However, if this company proves a gate keeper in a couple of key technology areas and can collect fees for use, it could be quite significant. Former TSRA (now XPER) invents and licenses technologies and has a $1.5B market cap

EDIG having minimal staff and no large overhead, one would hope that the company would see fit to reward the faithful with dividends. A couple cents a share quarterly would be great and doubltless attract attention of many outside investors.
I am confident that many outside investors have seen the movie Jerry Maquire and will be quick to repeat the line everyone remembers from the film... "Show me the money",,, before they begin jumping on board.
