`RP`s overriding focus in the conversation was one of EDig`s having to do next to nothing after the units are shipped and he did not mention EDig would get a ``cut`` of any additional or new content loaded on the unit.`
This makes sense to me. That way EDIG does what - and gets paid for what they do, the tech end of things. Content isn`t their game (other than making sure it works correctly in their device). Also, how a company comes up with the money to pay for the product becomes someone else`s headache. Keeps things simple.
Frees them up to move on to other products.
