Collecting countless amounts of sensor data in some form of organized fashion and having the ability to edit into this data through algorithm template patterns would be the bones of the former IP. The only difference between the past and now the user is not inserting data it's being done automatically.

The new IP is a set of principles that straddle the old IP. The industry may now be able to use the old IP, however e.digital has patented these new principles over their old IP that others should not be able to use.
