If I could continue my rant, I believe the opinion of those here that really understand the technical side of things (not me) was that the Nest suit ultimately boiled down to Google vs Microsoft. Am I wrong? Has that changed? Nothing happened at the time and I feel that has thrown us all, understandably, for a loop. So as a group, we have made all sorts of assumptions and pronastications, good and bad over the last 6-9 months. Seriously, if things work out for us, the first $$ spent should be on psycho-therapy. Anyway, if edig was to just disappear, under the opinion stated above, isnt Google at a major disadvantage when it comes to all this sensor/IOT business?
