If every cable, satellite and now TIVO owner has the capability to become a portable unit user, on more than one continent, this is another tremendous opportunity. The market could recognize this far more quickly than it did the early MP3 growth period because of the already preexisting market base.
We must keep in mind that the MP3 markets DID prove to be as big as we imagined, and so too it is likely these video market opportunities could as well.
EDIG must still have its fuse lit by one or more significant partners...an area that it fell short in previously.
Should that happen however, and it appears that is a distinct possibility, the last few years of building significant positions over time will prove to be well worth the effort.
