I beg to differ. Before investing, many people look at the data readily available to all, but also look to associated message boards to get a feel from those that have probably been long for a considerable bit of time and therefore have a feel for where the stock may be going, competition, rumors of mergers/buy-outs or new products, and attitudes about the company`s present management. It`s part of good DD. After all, merely looking at the data readily available to all doesn`t give you any more insight than ``the other guy``. I`ve done it.... And when I have I usually find the obviously disgruntled (identifiable from comebacks by others), but it`s not always easy. I also find the ignorant, still attempting to bash (like a recent look I took at a NYSE listed stock, where some idiot was bitching about MM manipulation - there are virtually no MMs involved on NYSE stocks). This was on the Yahoo board for the stock.

Assuming others do as I and look to message boards, they would definitely be turned away from EDIG if they look at RB, I-Hub, Yahoo, or even here.

I have no doubt that message boards have had a negative effect on our PPS. Maybe not a huge effect, but certainly some.

Longs here should think about it (if you are a real ``believer``). Blatantly knocking your investment, for potential investors to see, is incredibly stupid. Valid criticism I can understand, but calling it a POS I can`t.

The only saving grace here on Agora is that not many people even know it exists. Unfortunately that is not true of the other boards I mention, and there`s nothing that can be done about it.

THINK! Especially those you bash DaBoss for his positive and over exuberant posts of the past on RB. You shoot at him, blaming him personally for having made YOUR investment based on his posts. Message boards have no effect? Nobody uses them? Kinda silly to blast DaBoss for YOUR past actions supposedly based on his posts, then claim posts have no effect on potential investors.

This post is not necessarily directed at you because as pertains to Agora, you`re probably right. Other boards? Not so IMO.

But I KNOW nuttin`!
