Those are the questions in my mind. How much is this settlement worth? Not just in dollars, but to what it does to the playing field with all the other companies that we are dealing with in court.

What are the other patents worth?

IMO, you can bet that not just Google has been making an assesment! And I really hope that MSFT and GOOG are going to battle for the technology. That has been Tony's job IMO making sure that the tech remains in EDIG's control/ownership. I am hoping that this settlement puts EDIG in the "Cat's bird seat" with a win no matter who wins the battle for purchasing the tech.

The best deal IMO is for EDIG to form a partnership and help the tech grow and then as the value of the tech becomes pervasive and essential a buy out is completed.

I have lost out on companies that Google took over for peanuts... not wanting to have that happen again...
