PTAB Makes It Too Hard To Amend Patents, Fed. Circ. Told

Law360, New York (June 6, 2016, 6:10 PM ET) -- Patent owner Aqua Products Inc. on Monday told the full Federal Circuit that the Patent Trial and Appeal Board has “unduly restricted” the ability to amend patents in America Invents Act reviews by assigning patent owners the burden of proof, which the company said should be on petitioners.
