Other than the translation of different environments down to the DSP core.....IMO... DaVinci capability ends there .....at the embedded level....for now.

For the DigEplayer.....MOS has reached from out of the embedded bios levels to the Hard disk drive creating a secure drive as well as the I/O in an out of the drive.

A mix of both environments....I do see e.Digital efforts as the ultimate....abstract/translation machine.
