You say ``Forget Wencor``. I say ``not so fast``. IF an airline, e.g. SouthWest, went to Wencor and wanted 10,000 digEs ASAP, what would Brent do? Ask them to wait a year or so for a Triad digE? Send them to IMS? Send them to EDIG for the MedE coming ``soon``? No, IMO he`d probably accept the order and pass an order from Wencor to EDIG. Can you argue with THAT? Until Wencor has a replacement, I have little doubt that Wencor would happily accept orders and pass orders to EDIG. MONEY.

I`ve been reading all the posts, but have had nothing to say, that is, until this.

One more opine: The pessimist in me suggests that any near term announcement from EDIG will be that they have completed development of the MedE with some (incomplete) level of functionality, and that it will be shown to more than one prospective customer. But that would be good news IMO. More would of course be better....
