As for the PPS action recently and associated conjecture: could it simply be one MM (FLCR) loading up inventory for an anticipated event? (e.g., along the lines of what TM alluded to, or just the CES effect). Maybe loading inventory to capitalize on expected buys to cover naked shorts? (with 1/3/05 tomorrow, and you`d think an MM would be in a decent position to know of volume of naked shorts). Is FLCR located in So. Cal (SD or nearby where they could hear something through the walls)? If my recollection is correct, that naked short rule goes into effect tomorrow (?), so it may be a revealing day.

Another thought (that I`ve resisted posting): Doesn`t it seem fairly obvious that somebody at EDIG is monitoring this board? I`m basing this thought purely on SP`s report of his reception at EDIG HQ recently (which actually sounded quite humorous! LOL). It seems some stuff was somewhat inadvertently revealed in his prior visit (as he reported here). Just an amusing thought, but may give reason to think twice about what we`re posting.

Anybody else thinking (hoping?) that Delta (and others) are holding off on the digE awaiting FAA approval of our next gen/installed system? I emailed a question to the FAA the other day simply asking whether they had a site that provided status of their review process progress for new certs of airworthiness (no real response yet). If available, I`ll check APS and Wencor.

Too bad about Jetstar, though we`re still in the running. Don`t know how much credence to put in the results of their decision-making (unless we win! LOL). Have we heard all the new ``takers`` of the four doing tests in November?

Bet Musical has a booth at CES, and would be the appropriate forum to intro that new Cornice-based device. No big hopes other than maybe a little press (assuming we were involved). Competition for handheld audio is now insane; expectations here are low for me.

When is arbitration with F10 scheduled for? (was it Feb or Mar?).
