Consumers Ask For Cert. In Suit Over Nest Lab Thermostat

Law360, New York (January 25, 2016, 6:21 PM ET) -- A group of consumers who say Google Inc. unit Nest Lab’s energy-saving, light-up thermostats don’t lower their utility bills as much as they claim asked a California federal judge on Friday to certify their class, saying there’s common evidence establishing that the company made false representations about energy savings.
