The logarithmic formula they will not share, using posting activity points, thumb count, star votes by the members, # of violations/deleted posts, determines the rank which is assigned automatically from their software set up.

Also true..I emailed them to remove my flagged post, since only they can do so based on the HL rank. Had I been a non HL with a VP or P rank same is true.
