New 'IP Czar' Pledges To Boost Enforcement Work

Law360, Washington (April 09, 2015, 5:49 PM ET) -- White House intellectual property "czar" Daniel Marti vowed Thursday to prioritize enforcement against intellectual property infringement and work with the State Department and Customs and Border Protection to tackle the first item in his "ambitious agenda" for his new post.
To raise the profile of infringement, Marti said he would reconstitute the Intellectual Property Enforcement Coordinating Committee, of which he is the chair, with senior department and agency heads as his first action since assuming the post less than three weeks ago.
