Mary Fales, principal and  founder, has been practicing U.S. and foreign patent preparation and prosecution  for over six years as a registered patent agent. Prior to that, she was a Sr. electrical engineer for  Qualcomm, Franklin Wireless, and TI Wireless spanning over ten  years. Mary’s technical expertise began with analog circuit  designs and electroacoustic. She has focused on the wireless industry and has a large range of experience in  system design, board design, production, and over-the-air (OTA) standards. Her  strong engineering background and attention to details enables her to understand  her client’s needs and technology well: resulting in high quality  patents.
She is currently a part-time third year law  student (3L) focusing on intellectual property (IP) at California Western School  of Law (CWSL) in San Diego. She plans to expand her legal IP services once  admitted to the bar. She received the Academic Achievement Award for Patent Law  2013.
As an inventor herself, she has her own  patents pending, enjoys creating art, and making and solving puzzles. Mary cares  about maintaining a life work balance and being a responsible giving member of  the community. She co-founded  the Qualcomm Pro Bono group and is actively involved in local  volunteer work with Parental Readiness and Empowerment Program  (PREP).
