ok so this opinion is so low ....it's almost sea scum, but Plank will take a shot:

patent '108 had been patented and uncontested for many years.....until Intel filed their request for a petition.....(in other words, we had no active counsel on file with the uspto and no need for any)

so we needed a law firm to handle that request.....BOOM....attty on file.

fyi,.. our other attys are kinda busy! ;)
