IMO, the data segments can travel independently across a network, similar to status quo Packet protocols, addressed to the same destination where the files can then be recalled sequentially keeping the entire file intact. The MOS file system pushing this process can be configured to push data attributes recognizable to any operating system, or it can function under its proprietary attributes.
emit..now consider live streaming video/audio across networks on those principles.
Next time you see a news broadcast delivered from the interior of a car while it is driving down a snowy road(or whatever).... feeding live streaming video /audio into a news broadcast station on the fly...ask yourself...how are they doing that with a camera apparatus only and patching that in? Create and push live…
IMVHO..many(I won't say all) are not utilizing the status quo methods e.g.... (.avi) or other similar principles of streaming multimedia compressioncontainer formats....for audio / video mixing. They’ve moved on from there.
IMVHO, some,(I won’t say all) are handling/combining audio and video utilizing e.Digital principles...with on the fly compression pushed into each data segment....and transmitting a stream.
Also keep in mind the editing issues of e.Digitals principles.
From my prospective, this company has really been raked.
