Yep.
I don't care much for litigation as a business model... it's time intensive and unpredictable. Agree it would be better if they could complete the demo, then license and partner with a non-litigant.
But I'd rather see Handal sue for Nunchi IP infringement than for Flash-R. I suspect that at least psychologically, a Nunchi license (even a modest one) would carry a lot more weight from an investment perspective than yet another Flash-R settlement. There's a much longer time horizon to consider in regard to calculating potential royalties, plus it would prove that e.Digital is still relevant in a market that is getting lots of press and quickly heating up - namely: the IOT (Internet of Things).
As I suggested a few days ago, this is where Handal should be focusing efforts and spending time: Nunchi, MicroSignet, the future.
New suit against ArcSoft... another good sign that we may see a Nunchi licensee this year.
