Message: Question?

Thanks Dischino! I had the same memory of what transpired with IP Metrics.

What I've been thinking about is E.digital! Where it has been , how it got to where it is now & really where do the tea leaves guess that E.digital might be headed.

Part of the Edig story has to be " survival mode" which I think that they just climbed out from! Cutting exspenses & trying to stockpile any cash! What this did was that it bought time!

Time to finance ( 2 ) new patent portfolio's ( Micro-signet & Nunchi ). I figure at least a six year lead time ( just a guess ).

They hired DM for short term cash and to start the ball rolling. ( save the company! )

I know that there is a lot of mistrust of DM and how it handled various situations but in my mind Edig was transferred over to a specialist law firm ( Handal ) for the long term viability of E.digital.?

After some filings, came IP Metric's & everything that you just stated. It was all about valuation, getting a list of potential clients & the dreaded NDA'S! Handal is to take care of future lic. agreements ( writing up contracts and such )

After watching how Edig runs it's corporation ( quietly) I would have to guess that there is a huge amount of background business that always needs to be done.? Think of the line by line item checking for each part of a new patent or baby! Legal items on a continual basis for what the last 7 -8 years? Edig is a very small firm and I doubt that the BOD is going to do the day to day that has kept Edig moving forward.

My thought is, if Edig doesn't have the time or people to compete for contracts / lic.s then they need to look outside the company. Most everything that E.digital has done for quite awhile has been thought out & delibrate. I am sure that this part, sales & contacts, has been to. But where would Edig go? Just a thought, could there be a backend deal with IP Metrics to help? As the need arises. don't know but curious

imho Mahalo vic
