There is way more at stake now.
I say that, because there are two factors when it comes to Micron.
1. the important claims construction
2 Micron and Intel had a working relationship that started out as "IM Flash Technologies" through a joint venture. Subsequent that venture, Micron bought out Intel's stake for 600 million, where Intel now receives a supply of NAND flash directly from Micron....in the billions.
With that, Intel settled with e.Digital for whatever considerations...however, the full brunt of infringement falls on Micron, where one might question, Intel passed the buck?
