Message: 20 Years isn't very long for a company to go from Good to Great

If you read books such as Good to Great and Built to Last by Jim Collins you will discover the average amount of time for a company to break through and set the flywheel in motion is 20 years. If we guestimated EDIG started flash memory research in 1994/1995 then 2014/2015 would put us right on track. One of the companies Collins studies is Texas Instrument. He details how TI started its research on DSP chips in the mid 80's and didn't break through until cell phones started taking off in 2000 and really began to mature with the ipod and smart phones in the mid to late 2000's.

(Interesting read from 1999)

Companies like HP, Sony and Apple didn't become great companies over night although some of their break through developments made it seem that way.

EDIG has had its development delayed due to other companies taking advantage of their work by stealing their tech and unfavorable rulings by judges who were incompetent to make a ruling in the field of technology. The recent ruling and reaction has manifested how the e.Digital flywheel was and is in motion.
