Ladies abd gentilmen of the jury lets see what it is that ahs been proven by EDIG.
First and formost is who has complete ownership according to the USPO. It is their conclusion that the ownership of these pattens in question belong entirely to EDIG. We have tried to discuss with all those that by our understanding of how their products work it does so only because or what belongs to EDIG. Was an effort made for EDIG to liscence their product to Apple. There were discussion from the start and NDA's agreed to yet Apple chose to forego a liscence and choose instead to use the product with out permission.
Is this something that Apple was known to do? Yes and was admitted to by its former cheif executive who clearly stated that it is not beyond them to steal what ever they needed to succeed. Hve they used what belonged to edig and did so knowing what they were doing . Yes and that has been established and with what effect for Apple. It grew to become a major company being worth today measured not in millions but in hundreds of billions thats with a B. Is there proof that EDIG's product was instremental in that success? Remove EDIG from any of its products and does it work? NO.
The example of what Apple done has also been the thrust of other companies to do the same, avoid a liscence and take the chance that EDIG will just fail and go out of existence. Edig dis not succome and is here today in the fight that will set a precident that patten right belong to those that have them and those that use them must get their permission.
Who is to say just what the status of EDIG would have been if Apple would have a greed to a Liscence. Let us compound this because their are at least 176 companies that have followed the course of Apple and have decided to steal what did not belong to them just as Apple has done for at least 10 if not more years.
We are talking about theft which their chief officer stated was what they did to get where they were.
If Apple is worth today 150 billion dollars give or take, what part of that really belongs to EDIG? If Apple depended on what belong to EDIG for their success what part of that would be justified as a penalty for that theft where by you amassed your fortune.
In the minds of those who had invested in EDIG that portion should be at least 5 if not 10 percent of the total. That would send a message to any and all that theft will not pay.
