Customer(s) - DABOSS

...hence management`s expectations that customers will surface in the coming days/weeks/months/quarter.
``customers will surface``? Was it your impression that they have yet to sign a customer for the Medeviewer or that they were simply waiting to announce one?
Two reasonable possibilities exist:
1) They have a customer(s) already committed and are working out various details before launch can occur - and such launch is fairly certain in the short term (as suggested in the 10/14 PR - ``With orders expected for our MedeViewer E7 this quarter and in the next quarter...``)
2) They have no customer currently committed but are ``working with`` one or more and believe/expect/hope that someone will sign a real contract soon.
I recall the SHM when someone said something like - ``you don`t have any customers besides Wencor`` to which Robert replied: ``None that have been announced`` - suggesting that there was in fact another customer for e.Digital`s products. However, that reply would remain a true statement whether they had another customer or not. This is the real rub for me in the way that management chooses to communicate with us. I understand where harm was done in the past for saying or suggesting too much, but infinitely stringing us along with half-truths and innuendo isn`t appropriate either.
We`re all trying to get more information while they do their best to keep our hopes alive as they attempt to secure some new business. If they really had anything to tell us, I think they`d do so. That`s why I tend to believe they have no one signed as yet - though I`ll concede that something could possibly be imminent.
It`s been an absolute eternity considering the technology area in which they do business - littered with several major false starts and resultant failures. I`m glad to see them not giving up but this can`t and won`t last forever. It`s long past time for them to perform. I continue to hope, to pray, that they can finally turn what they call potential or opportunities into proven and positive business results - leading ultimately of course to profit.
I sure hope they`ve learned some good lessons after all this time and are finally ready to apply them. I hope they meant it when they said: ``We also expect to be much more active with new customers in media and press opportunities for e.Digital and our next generation proprietary DVAP technology.`` Some increased awareness and attention in the market would be most welcome at this point.
I`ll give them until the end of December to judge whether they continue to blow smoke or not. Regardless, I`m certain to be a tax loss seller this year - only question is how many shares it takes to hit the target.
