you are right on target.
Penny stocks are a ``bumpy`` road for all the reasons you sight...small companies trying to find their way.
All I can say is that many other companies, both penny and blue chip, have since perished during the time frame you describe but EDIG continues to survive while looking to bag that deal that holds our attention.
Improved financials, new products and customers at least represent a future for this investment. A new proprietary DVAP is supposedly finding a niche not unlike the digEplayer, but with EDIG playing the Wencor role.
There is a reason to hold, imo...and apparently many others.
