"So, it can potentially increase the likelihood of a customer's future designs also being based on ARM, and specifically lock out Intel from moving in and offering its own internet-of-things services and solutions."
They are all going to be stealing e.Digitals patented OS structured ideas....that includes Claim 1, claim term (b) of the 108....fore that is what is meant by ....
"The company is designing the mbed OS software to require as littlebattery power and memory as possible,"
Their main concern was for fragmentation across the industry for data in providing this OS. Data needing interpertation from one platform to another....they want to eliminate all the different needs to have to interperate.
From e.Digitals 445 patent.... many times I have put this up...perhaps this time it might make some sense....
"The file system of the present invention is adaptable to use many conventions of existing file structures of operating systems currently in use so that it may be consideredhardware independent. This feature of portability is crucial in this day of multiple hardware platforms for storing digital data."
In other words, the OS can be configured to administer the attributes of other operating systems, e.g file extensions..etc ....so that data created on e.Digitals platform can be read by the various other operating systems....this eliminates the fragmentation.
They are in our face stealing the idea and thumbing their nose at us.... and they have been doing it right along.
There is no stopping it.... and they're all foaming at the mouth to see e.Digitals patents live out.
