I actually read that EDIG management piece about Atul yesterday before writing that post, but somehow missed the part about him coming to EDIG in 99. I went to the ASM in Nov 2000 and remember Falk presenting the MXP and after the meeting I talked to Norbert. I thought I remembered them bringing Atul on board to replace Norbert, But I`m obviously wrong. I felt the same way allot of people feel about Atul leaving now as when Norbert left. Norbert`s name was on the patent papers for our micro os file management system and I thought he was the brains behind EDIG.

I read that link sky provided and pick up on this.

Mr. Lane most recently held the position of Design Engineer at L3 Communications Telemetry and Instrumentation in San Diego, California. Prior to that, Mr. Lane held similar positions with Scientific Atlanta/Signal Processing Systems and Loral Instrumentation, both in San Diego. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Washington State University

Over his 27-year career, Blakeley has served in managerial and engineering positions for TRW, Scientific Atlanta, Aegis Broadband and most recently with Northrop Grumman. He is well versed in multiple disciplines with significant experience in managing large engineering teams, contracts, manufacturing, marketing and finance. Blakeley has a strong background in systems engineering skills including specifications, architectures and algorithms. He has successfully managed both development and production contracts totaling $100 million from inception through deployment. Blakeley has a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from San Diego State University.

Lane was hired along with Atul and held a previous position with Scientific Atlanta. Same company you`ll note as Will Blakley. If Lane is still with EDIG then that cooroborates the notion of how Will was referred to EDIG.

Next time I won`t trust my 57 year old memory.

Larry
