I've been thinking about this article for a while and a thought keeps popping up. This group of companies seem to want to control the ( IOT ) internet of things through an alliance of sorts and it sounds like they will probably dictate the total ( ? ) structure into the future for the IOT. This article states that they want an ( open source protocol ). Do you think that because of this, the major companies will refuse to pay for a non open source IP like Nunchi?

The thought is that it won't conform to the open source ideal and secondly because Edig has said that Nunchi is fundamental to parts of the cloud and the companies might have a very large royalty check to write? and therefore will refuse to include it? Just an off the wall thought on a very hot day!

Thanks, Vic :)
