Our corporate ``No Fly`` list includes US Air, America Worst (make that West), and now United International flights since they sub them out to Asia. Soon, I believe Delta`s Comair Express will be added since my boss was in the mess.
Every airline has a bad day, but this past weekend was the worst I`ve seen in a long time. I`m not sure who wins with a ``sick out`` during a Holiday travel season. I guess somebody wanted to show management something. When they close the doors and turn off the lights, they will all see that flyers have options, especially the more profitable business fliers.
It will not be a surprise to see most of the legancy carriers continue to suffer finacially, maybe even add a few more Chapter 11s. The one plane for all routes, on-time delivery, and cheap fares business model of Southwest ($2B in the bank) and JetBlue continue to shine. Let`s hope we see a digEplayer in some form on one of the profitable airlines soon.
