what I can't figure, how did e.Digital get the assigned doc42 filing number.... without actually filing a doc ?

Did e.Digital reserve the 42 slot and then ask the court for additional time to file 42?

Pantech had to have (?) insight initially regarding 42 assignment, seeing the slot number 42 was assigned to e.Digital.
