Hard to say with no legal knowledge other than my law degree from Agoracom, but putting EDIG in the "list" and calling them a patent troll IMO is debatable...it's name calling at worst as I see it.

What gets me about this gutless one sided author, who goes with the big money boyz to put down EDIG and others, is this...

Norris established 1988, named changed to e.Digital (when ?), 1st patent granted 1995 or 1996 (?), introduced/sold 9 or so products, developed 4 more patents (Flash-R), did not sue anyone till 2008, developed 7 new patents thus far (6 Nunchi & 1 microSignet)....how does this put them in the category as a troll, vs outfits who buy patents, sue for infringement and have never produced a single product?

So, after 20 years in business struggling to survive, they finally decided to get what they deserved and sure 47 outfits thus far, making them a patent troll?

BS, double BS!!!

I say, screw those who call EDIG a patent troll....
