Would a cool, current site help? Sure couldn`t hurt (or cost very much). Remember, someone (customer?) looking for a digEplayer on the internet would find themselves looking at some outfit called APS, appearing to be affiliated with Alaska Airlines (that can`t be it...). Then imagine that first contact, presumeably to APS, someone answers and either says Wencor (Ooops, wrong number?) or digEcor (maybe pick up on it...).
So the only way to be introduced to the digE people is at a couple-times-a-year trade show, or if they come-a-knocking on your door? Pathetic.
With alittle luck, a prospective customer might do a google on the digE and find EDIG. Chances are probably near equal to them ever finding Wencor or digEcor. And if they used the internet further? Wencor - no IFE. DigEcor - back to that APS site. Pathetic.
As to site importance.... There`s this new thing called the internet - the greatest marketing mechanism ever devised. BTW, look at how the Wencor site works for non-IFE sales.
But I do know nuttin`!
