Good idea . Obsolete old guns (except for historical display etc) and make everyone buy new digital ones (stimulates economy) by outlawing current ammunition . New guns will talk to new ammunition (MS'ed of course) to allow discharging thus all bullets can be traced to the gun (good for cops). Well something like that anyway :-)
