More Rigor Needed In Patent Damages Requests, Judges Say

Law360, Washington (April 03, 2014, 7:17 PM ET) -- Attorneys in patent cases must take a more rigorous, fact-based approach to their requests for damages, particularly when they are seeking huge amounts of money, a panel of judges including the leader of the Federal Circuit said at a conference on Thursday.
