If they bought all of the options, they would be no more and the outstanding shares would increrase by the same amount.
In a buyout, and it could vary, the buy out may include an amount per share for the outstanding shares, which wou;d include the new option purchases. Of course all this depends on the agreement between the buyer and edig.
There also couild be a share transaction, 100 edig shares for 1 "X" share, again depending on the terms. Under this situation if they didn't buy their options, then they may carry forward but with the new conversion of the share difference.
