I believe this thread began with someone questioning the current role of IPMetrics in light of the fact that they were hired approximately a year ago and there has been no specific update as to their progress or lack thereof. So here is my humble timeline.
Nunchi has vast possibilities and when asked by prospective licensees "can it do this, can it do that" our answer was yes--but we need to show proof.
IPMetrics was hired about one year ago to help value Nunchi, maybe also market? But, if it truly has many applications, do we need to have to customize the presentations for each potential user?
In August Joe asked if IPMetrics was involved with Micro Signet, the answer was no. So IPM was strictly a Nunchi advisor.
Nov. PR--"the company is marketing its Nunchi patent portfolio through a modified licensing strategy(?) involving the assistance of its law firm, Handal and Associates." No mention of IPMetrics--so was their work complete or were they injected into the process prematurely?
Feb. PR--"we are developing applications and technologies to demonstrate the power and functionality or our Nunchi technology." We are developing............to demonstrate---
So in Nov. they were marketing Nunchi and in Feb. they were in the process of developing ways to demonstrate it. Nov. marketing.............Feb. developing ways to demo? Cart before the horse? Customized presentations for specific users?
In any event, IPMetrics appears to have little or no continued involvement. Perhaps, if their participation was premature, they will come back into the mix to determine value after the customized demos if there are such things?
I feel like a combination of Inspector Cluseau and Columbo.
