As I recall the reason it was, in addition to other things, so that Fred could devote more time to sales.... like those of the digEplayer. Seems to me that Bill B. and Wencor did much of those sales. At the SHM Fred spoke of his efforts to aquire content for the player(s). As we all know content is King. What are the chances that Fred has aquired content from the biggest of the content providers? I figure that the product will have to sell itself and well it may because it can offer secure content delivery.
