Along these lines (Atul`s speech), I`m reminded of one of by former employees. Really good person, hard worker, etc., but she was a ``fast talker``. For the first couple of weeks after bringing her on board, I had a heck of a time understanding what she was saying. There were a lot of ``What?`` replies and apologies coming from my mouth. But then I became accustomed to it, and the concern ``went away``. I suspect the same thing happened re: Atul at EDIG. Everyone at EDIG had grown accustomed to Atul`s manner of speech, and the concern had ``gone away`` and was no longer recognized. They forgot that those not so accustomed might have a problem.
And, as I talked about after the AMS, imagine FF with Atul in tow visiting prospective customers. Yikes! Two ineffective communicators hocking our complex goods. Not a pretty picture.
While I think it`s unfortunate that Atul is leaving (since I`m under the impression that he was a major contributor in engineering), I`m glad to see him go as President/CEO.
