If I recall correctly there was some conversation back soon after the original six Nunchi patents were approved and had begun to be marketed. As companies started to look at it they supposedly asked, "can it do this, can it do that?". Shortly after that the three add ons were announced. It is possible that the three children that we are hoping to also get approved were things that a company or companies specifically asked for, so we complied. Also, could have been extensions that we were planning anyway, who knows. Want to get those three approved soon regardless.
