Three reasons, AND I AM STICKING TO ALL OF THEM

2. Atul did not present the face of the company in a desirable manner. While knowing everything about the ``techie`` side which he could discuss with OTHER engineers he was VERY HARD TO UNDERSTAND talking to people that write the orders.
3. The search for a replacement ``FACE OF EDIG`` with business experience in the field, started a long time ago, perhaps as long as 6 months. Decisions and changes like this, IN ANY COMPANY, do not happen overnight. Atul was asked to step aside and he refused, instead choosing one of the many offers he most likely had. I do not believe he was fired but did not wish to accept a lessor position so he left. PERHAPS ON GOOD TERMS, PERHAPS NOT...only time will tell...My thoughts are ``PERHAPS NOT``.... Can any of you out there in EDig land, putting yourself in the same scenario, think your leaving would be ``quite amicable``??? Not me....
This makes sense to me due to the fact that the hiring of Mr. Blakely was initiated some time ago. If Atul simply left because of a better offer EDig would have been caught flatfooted and scrambling to find a replacement....BUT EDIG HAD THAT REPLACEMENT IN THE WINGS...
Of course a reasonable persona could also say Atul simply accepted a much more lucrative offer, but due to his high moral sense, stayed until a replacement was found.....I can`t quite accept this scenario however since most high placed employees IN ANY BUSINESS, when indicating their desire to more on, are IMMEDIATELY ASKED TO LEAVE, THEIR DOOR CLOSED AND DESKS CLEARED OUT. .....THIS I KNOW FOR A FACT AND SO DO ALL OF YOU.......
