fwiw...It's not security in semiconductors...it's the ID of semiconductors...utilized for security considerations....

There is only one of me and one of you, we each have a DNA signature....as well as other characteristics.

Anyway, anywhere a real hard ID recognition is needed in communications beyond pass words etc........this ID can be established....without it, no connection.
